Description
Transclusion template. Adds the Dead external link! article to Category:Cleanup/LinkRot.
Used to flag Link rot deaths of both external and internal hyperlinks. Flagged pages are added to the Cleanup category list.
Provides tombstoning (mark as dead & beyond recovery) or re-animation with Wayback Machine archival page parameters.
Usage
Example with Wayback Machine re-direct:

Append this template directly after the link, in all cases, leaving the original link intact in all cases. This should be after the link code's terminating square bracket (]) since we are using MediaWiki.
