After spending an hour and a half composing the text for my user page I was shocked to find that the Save of that page was denied. Apparently some kind soul added a Category to my page. I was presented with a screen that only showed the other edit, and not a trace of the text I had entered. The confrontation with the possibility of over an hour of work being lost resulted in a stream of choice words which I will not repeat here. Luckily I was able to retrieve my text with some hickory-pokery, start a new edit and copy-paste in my own work.
