Gramps is a Free Software Project for Genealogy, offering a professional-grade genealogy program, and a wiki open to all. It is a community project, created, developed and governed by
genealogists.
- Installation: Install the Gramps genealogy software right away. Gramps currently runs on Linux, Apple macOS, and Windows. Guides for installation on all three (plus BSD and Solaris) are available.
- Addons: Extend your installed Gramps with third-party addons to add additional functions. Includes many additional Filters, Tools, Reports, Views, Web Pages, and Gramplets.

Gramps team releases version 5.2.1, A new maintenance release.
- Updated translations: de_AT, fi, fr, ga, he, it, nb_NO, pl, sk, sr, tr, uk, zh_Hans.
- 13233: Fix error when installing an addon that will not be registered.
- 13232: Allow experimental and beta plugins to be registered.
- Tidy up the README file.
- Fix fan charts on HiDPI screens.
- 10016: Replace PIL with Pillow in the README.
- 12579: Fix the Tag.is_empty() method. The `Tag.is_empty()` method was returning the inverse of the expected value.
- 13228: Cannot create Place with coordinates via Geography.

Gramps team releases version 5.2.0, A new major release.
- Updated translations: ca, cs, da, de, de_AT, en_GB, es, fr, hr, hu, id, it, nb, nl, pl, sk, sl, sv, tr, uk, zh_CN.
- Update development status to production.
- Remove the Trove classifier "Natural Language :: German(Austrian)".
- 13021: Emit a "plugins-reloaded" signal when a new addon is installed. This ensures that the user interface will be updated to include the new addon.
- Fix Windows AIO build.
- Update GitHub actions to latest versions. Some actions are deprecated.
- Package Gramps 5.2.0-rc1 on macOS.
