מה כלול באילן־היוחסין לדוגמה?

מסד־הנתונים אילן־יוחסי לדוגמה (קובץ example.gramps) אמור באופן אידיאלי לספק מקרה־בדיקה מקצה לקצה, כלומר: מקרה לכל הנושא, לפחות אחד מכול נושא, מקרה לכול מה שגרמפס מבצע או מסוגל לבצע לרבות יכולות חסומות, וכן הלאה.

אילן-היוחסין פגום? אם עולה חושד לסוגיה (תקל או 'באג' בלעז) בגרמפס, חשוב לנסות תחילה לאבחן את מקור הבעיה, לשם כך ניתן לבצע את אותה פעולה שגרמה לבעינה, על אילן־יוחסין לדוגמה.
• אם הבעיה מתרחשת גם עם אילן־יוחסין לדוגמה, אפשר וצריך לשגר דוח תקל.
•אם לא ניתן לשחזר את הבעיה באמצעות אילן־היוחסין לדוגמה, ייתכן שיידרש לבצע תיקון השחתת נתונים.


מטרת אילן־יוחסין לדוגמה

התקנת גרמפס אמורה לכלול מספר דוגמאות לנתוני אילן־יוחסין. נתונים אלה משמשים לעבודה עם מדריכים למשתמש וחקירת ובחינת כלים או תכונות בגרמפס באופן "בטוח" מבלי לסכן את אילן־היוחסים העיקרי.

מסיבות ברורות ומובנות, לא ניתן לחקור רבות מהתכונות הללו עד אשר אילו־היוחסין לא יאוכלס באנשים, משפחות, אירועים, מקומות, מקורות, מדיה וסוגי נתונים אחרים במערכת; ייבוא נתונים לדוגמה למעשה יוצר "מגרש משחקים" שמאפשר בדיקות אלו בסביבה בטוחה ב"ארגז חול".

יתרה מזאת, רוב הדוגמאות, "כיצד לבצע..." מדריך למשתמש וצילומי־מסך (איורים) בויקי זה מבוססים גם הם על קובץ דוגמה זה, מהנתונים שיובאו זה עתה לעץ החדש (הריק) שנוצר. לכן, שימוש בנתונים אלה בעת ביצוע הוראות לבחינת טכניקה חדשה, אמורת להציג תמיד את אותן התוצאות.

הוודאות הזאת מבטלת את העמימות והתהיה, שמע התוצאה השונה נבעה מטעות ביישום הטכניקה בצורה נכונה, או מהבדלים מהותיים בנתונים עצמם. זיהוי ודאי של מקור ה"אשם" על ידי הוצאת ה"נתונים" מהמשוואה, מאפשרת התמקדות בשיפור הטכניקה ותיקון נתונים באילן־היוחסין ה"אמיתי" על פי נתוני ההדגמה.

אילן־יוחסין כזה מטיבעו נחשב כ'מתכלה' וכך גם צריך להתיחס אליו. לנתונים שנזין לתוכו, לא תהיה כל משמעות במילא. בנוסף, הרצת תוכניות עיבוד אצוות מתוך תפריט ה'כלים', עשויים להוסיף ולשנות רשומות רבות, כך שגם אם בטעות "נשחית" את הדוגמה, אז פשוט מוחקים אותו ויוצרים אילן־יוחסין חדש, כעת ניתן לייבא את דוגמת אילן־היוחסין שוב.

מסד־נתוני הדוגמה (אילן־היוחסין לדוגמה) משמשים גם כסביבה מוכרת, יציבה וצפויה לביצוע בדיקות. תנאים ומצבים רבים לא ניתנים ליצירה או הדמיה ללא נתונים עשירים ותקינים במסד־הנתונים. שימוש בקובץ הדוגמה (כמסגרת התייחסות משותפת) מקטינה גם את המורכבות הנוספת בתיאור כיצד ליצור מסד־נתוני בדיקה לפני תאור הסוגיה.

טעינת example.gramps

על מנת לייבא את קובץ מסד־נתוני הדוגמה החיצוני "example.gramps" נא לבצע את השלבים הבאים:

  1. איתור קובץ example.gramps או קובץ דחוס example.gramps.gz במערכת הקבצים.

לכל מערכת הפעלה (עליה גרמפס מסוגל לרוץ), מבנה קובצי־מערכת שונה, לדוגמה (לפי מערכת הפעלה):

    • בלינוקס, /usr/share/doc/gramps/example/gramps/. אם הקובץ נקרא example.gramps.gz, יש לשנות את שמו ל־example.gramps על מנת שגרמפס יזהה אותו. אפשר להעתיק קובץ זה למיקום זמני או לייבא אותו ישירות מהמחיצה הזו.
    • במיקרוסופט וינדוס v6.0.8 AIO, C:\Program Files\GrampsAIO64-6.0.8\share\doc\gramps\example\gramps (בווינדוס, יש לודא שקבצים מוסתרים מסומנים לצפיה; לקריאה נוספת ספרית משתמש:MS וינדוס)
    • באפל מק OS, מסד הנתונים לדוגמה ממוקם בתוך חבילת היישומים בכתובת /Applications/Gramps.app/Contents/Resources/share/doc/gramps/example/gramps/
  2. איתחול גרמפס
  3. יצירת אילן־יוחסין חדש
    איור ־ 4 נהול מסדי נתונים - סמל בסרגל הכלים (זהה לשימוש בתפריט אילנות־יוחסין ← ניהול אילנות־יוחסין...)
    • אם תיבת הדו־שיח "אילן־יוחסין - גרמפס" לא הופיעה באופן אוטומטי בעת אתחול גרמפס, יש לבחור באילונות־יוחסין ← ניהול אילונות־יוחסין... או בצרוף־מקשים Ctrl+o
    • בחלון הדו־שיח, בחירה בלחצן חדש.
    • ומתן שם כלשהו לאילן־היוחסין, כגון דוגמה
    • בחירה בלחצן טעינת אילן־יוחסין לפתיחת אילן־היוחסין החדש המודגש. עם אילן־היוחסין ה"ריק" הזה, ממשק המשתמש יראה חשוף בצורה מטרידה.
  4. ליבוא קובץ גרמפס לדוגמה
    • ניתן להשתמש בתפריט אילנות־יוחסין ← ייבוא...או ב צרוף־מקשים Ctrl+i כדי לפתוח סייר קבצים
    • דפדוף לתיקיה אותה מצאתם בלשב 1 לעיל
      אפשרות הניווט של סייר הקבצים המוגדר כברירת מחדל לנתיבי קבצים היא הצגת כל רמה מדרגית באמצעות ניווט "פירורי לחם". או להקליד (או להדביק) נתיב שנמצא מעלה, הקשה על Ctrl+L למעבר מניווט "פירורי לחם" לתיבת מלל שניתנת לעריכה.
    • הקשה על הפריט example.gramps תדגיש (הידוע גם בשם "בחר") את הקובץ
    • הקשה נוספת על הקובץ המסומן והמודגש, תתחיל את פעולת הייבוא


ייבוא סטטיסטיקה של קובץ אילן־יוחסין example.gramps

מספר הפריטים החדשים שיובאו:

עצמי מדיה עם נתיבים יחסיים יובאו. הנתיבים יחסיים למחיצת המדיה אותה ניתן להגדיר ב'העדפות', אם לא הוגדר נתיב בהעדפות, היחסיות היא אל ספריית המשתמש.

example.gramps מופצים גם שבעה עצמי מדיה לדוגמה (תמונות בתסדיר קובץ JPEG ו־PNG). נתיבי הקובץ שהוגדרו באילן־היוחסין משתמשים כנקודת התחלה בנתיב מדיה יחסי (נתיב בסיסי לנתיבי מדיה יחסיים:).

מחיצת ברירת המחדל שמוגדרת מתפריט עריכה ← העדפות...לשונית אילן־יוחסין משתמשת כנקודת התחלה אחרת.

לכן תמונות אלה לא יהיו ניתנות לאיתור כל עוד נתיב המדיה לא הוגדר מחדש. תמונות ממוזערות בתצוגה מקדימה יציגו סמל 'קישור שבור' בתיבה עם 'X' אדום.

ניתן כעת לשצב את נתיב המדיה. אבל, כדי להתחיל להתנסות עם תמונות ומדיה אחרת:

  1. מתפריט עריכה ← העדפות, יש לשנות את נתיב הבסיס לנתיבי מדיה יחסיים: בלשונית כללי .

אפשר לשמור את העצם במחיצה חדשה, כדי שישמר בנפרד לפרטי מדיה של אילן־היוחסין ה'אמיתי'. (לדוגמה ב-Linux ~/gramps/example/)

  1. העתקת קובצי המדיה ממחיצת הדוגמה (שנשמרו בשלב 1, לעיל) למחיצת נתיב מדיה זה.
