There are several instances of 'Avoid' parsing patches listed in the 5.0.2 list of changes... primarily for the Lat/Long parser. (The list would be more readable if all those Lat/Long patches were grouped together.)

These appear to be more like: ignore/disregard or handle/cope with.

I think 'reject' (usually with a user warning) on 'avoid'.

Or maybe 'Avoid' gained a more specific additional application for software dev?
